Check this out: an input plugin for Winamp that uses the MPlayer engine (originally developed for Linux, then ported to Windows) for playback - this doesn't use DirectShow, so you get a much more consistent support of various filetypes. Just think VideoLAN player, but inside Winamp. :D SourceForge.net: in_mplayer Be warned, the plugin's still alpha. It rocks for an alpha-stage project though. :D Dragged out of Christopher's memory and pasted into his blog at 7/07/2004 08:58:32 PM. Roughly. The ActiveX flaw in Internet Explorer which allowed malicious code to log keystrokes, and write to system files / the hard drive, has finally been patched by Microsoft. Award for longest time between vulnerability discovery and patch release date? They only even released a patch because a virus that uses this exploit was released :/ Anyways, MS recommends that all users on Windows NT4, 2000, XP and 2003 install this update (except for people using the latest XP Service Pack 2 RC2, who aren't affected). I got a good one today. :) All beds have special L-shaped covers that reach up to the armpits of a woman but only to the waist At least it's entertaining now to see how spammers desperately try to evade the spam filters :D Dragged out of Christopher's memory and pasted into his blog at 7/05/2004 05:02:51 PM.
