In Memoriam Grace Sadler

Somebody who I used to know way back when died exactly 3 years to the very day. What's really weird is that the actual date was Thursday the 30th of November 2001, and I happened to remember this on Thursday the 30th of September.

If you can't access the archived version of the webpage which originally had my in memoriam on, here it is:

(archived @ this page)

In Memoriam Grace Sadler
Aged 16, died Thursday 30th November 2001.

I only knew her in the early years of my life, but having known her while I was at primary school, and then to then find out from your mum that she died four days previously after being in intensive care for six weeks (she died on Thursday the 30th of November 2001) comes as quite a shock. It really puts things into perspective...

My thoughts at this time reach out to her brother, Andrew, and Mr. and Mrs. Sadler. I hope that they find peace in the knowledge that many people are praying for them and have them in their thoughts tonight and for a long time to come. I'm not a religious person myself, but I'll say a prayer for Grace and her family tonight.

May you rest in peace, wherever you may be. Cut down in the best years of your life... It's so terribly sad. I only wish I had stayed in contact with you during our teenage years Grace...

I know it's not exactly 3 years yet, but it feels a lot longer.

Feeling a little Mad?

I'm feeling mad(ly happy!) - I just found my FAVOURITE <3 <3 <3 Winamp 2 skin since time began! which I lost when my old C: failed... Check it out: Mad Hatter for winamp 2.

Some people may love it, some may not. I REALLY dig it, however. Nothing I've used up until finding this have really satisfied me in the way that this skin did immediately. There's some tiny niggling bugs, but I don't really care about those at all. Truth be told, I never even noticed any of them except one until I read other peoples' comments on the deviantART page for it today. So ner.

Ever wanted to make your IE get provided by yourself or even "the grace of God"?

Well, you always can fake it you know. And here's how: 176497 - How to Change the Internet Explorer Window Title

My Internet Explorer installation has been "provided by Linux" for years, and I'm proud of it. ;)

Also, this is a good way to get rid of the REALLY ANNOYING "provided by " text from your browser if you bought a PC from a commercial supplier such as Dell, who just lurrrrrrrve to brand their PCs.

So what happened to the "plane" that hit the Pentagon on September the 11th?

not many people are quite sure, but as the FBI / DoD certainly haven't helped us find out, perhaps this animation might. (This is a properly serious animation, WELL worth checking out.)

Zladko "Zlad" Vladcik was to perform his very popular techno-ballad, "Elektronik Supersonik"

And perform he did.

Quite something. :D

Want to watch the film that's been viewed by more people than John Kerry's speech?

AtomFilms may just have the right video for you.

AtomFilms - This Land

Superbly voice acted, sharp animation - all makings of a great pre-election parody. My Politics teachers'll be shown this :)
