BBC - Radio 3 - The Beethoven Experience

"From 9am on Sunday 5 June to midnight on Friday 10 June, BBC Radio 3 will broadcast every single note of Ludwig van Beethoven. Every symphony, every quartet, every sonata ... and plenty of Beethoven surprises too."

I suggest you take a listen... My digital radio will be recording the entire thing (that's over 100 hours' worth) - so glad I forked out £40 for it over 3 and a half years ago. (I got it half price, don't you know) :)

More information on the BBC Radio 3 'The Beethoven Experience' minisite.

Star Trek Enterprise Executive Producer talks to Sci Fi about why the series failed

Personally I love Enterprise, I even grew to love the theme tune (big fan of the traditionally-composed, theatrical instrumentation scores that the previous Star Trek series have) - was desperately disappointed when I heard it was to be axed after only 4 years of its proposed 7 year run. A real shame.

Rick Berman talked to Sci Fi about this, and you can read it on the 29th of April edition of SciFi Wire: //www.scifi.com/scifiwire2005/index.php?category=0&id=30935.

We have a General Election on Thursday...

... And I'm still unsure which political party to vote for. This is awful; in our day and age, all the parties are so undecided and shockingly untrustworthy, I really don't have the heart to vote for any of them. Certainly not the Conservatives - my granny of 81 years rang us up to say, as a staunch lifelong Conservative, that she was voting Lib Dem this year - and Labour aren't much better, with their increases of taxation and failed past promises.

That said, the Conservatives under Margaret Thatcher did want to privatise everything they could get their hands on. I think I might end up having to vote Lib Dem, if only tactically - I couldn't face wasting a vote by abstaining, as that leads to a distillation of the accurate vote and inaccurate bias towards the more popular parties.

Flippin' eck. Ah well, either way I vote, I'm screwed - my demographic (middle class, student, soon to be first-time houseowner and newly-employed) is the one that'll get hit the most with tax increases and National Insurance etc. Bollocks to it, time to vote Liberal Democrat.

I don't want the €uro as my currency though =/

...

Argh! haha, I'm going to be insane by next Thursday at this rate.
